At this Quarrier's Care Unit in Lenzie we installed Tarkett 'Wetroom Concept' vinyls. The 'Aquarelle Wetwall' vinyl cladding creates a beautiful, water-tight finish on the walls and is more hygenic than ceramic tiles which require grouting. The Tarkett Granit Multisafe provides an anti-slip surface for the floors and is turned down into the floor drain to create a water-tight seal (Left). Both floor and wall vinyls are available in a range of co-ordinated colours.
(Below) the raised dimples of the Granit Multisafe create an aesthetically pleasing, anti-slip surface which is warm underfoot and easy to maintain.
(Above) the seams of the vinyl wall cladding are heat welded to create a
water-tight finish. The wall cladding is then moulded over the floor skirting (Right) to ensure a water-tight seal so that no water can penetrate under the floorcovering.
The result is a finish which is more water-tight and hygenic than ceramics.
