Working for Hanover Housing Association we installed Heckmondwike carpeting throughout their Sunnyside Court scheme in Morningside, Edinburgh.

The excessively deep entrance matwell had edges which had to be eliminated. We installed 18mm wbp construction grade plywood into the base of the matwell and then applied latex screed to raise the height and render a flush finish between the surface of the Heckmondwike entrance matting and the timber mat frame which can be seen in the photo below. This resulted in a smooth finish throughout the Entrance Area. We also installed wbp plywood throughout all of the corridors to ensure a high quality finish.

On the stair we installed the Heckmondwike carpet with the chair lift in-situ and then fitted aluminium nosings with a cream insert which ensured a difference of more than 31 points in LRV between carpet and nosing, thus creating a contrast which conformed with current regulations.
