Right - For the Dutch Barge Leven Restaurant in London's Canary Wharf we installed 18mm marine plywood and a black 2mm Altro Safety flooring to render a perfectly flush finish with the adjoining 20mm wood floor.

Altro is a high quality vinyl and is homogeneous with the carborundum grit which provides the anti-slip surface being found throughout the entire 2mm thickness of the vinyl (rather than being simply a surface layer). this ensures that the slip resistant surface won't be worn away in high traffic areas such as in front of the sink.
