We offer a range of slip-resistant vinyl floorcoverings, R10 rating, with heat welded seams, which create a safer, hygenic floor surface for areas where spillages are a danger.
Jamaica Court,
Greenock.
Left - At Jamaica Court we smoothed the floor of the heavily used Kitchen with latex screed and lined it with wbp construction grade plywood before installing heavy-duty Swedish vinyl, Tarkett Eminent Safe-T anti-slip vinyl flooring. The joints are heat-welded to create a seamless, hygenic floor.
Altro Marine safety flooring has carborundum grit and raised dimples on the surface to create additional slip-resistance for bare foot traffic areas such as this shower area in Glasgow (right). On the left we laid black Altro safety Standard in the kitchen of the Dutch Barge Leven Restaurant at Canary Wharf in London Docklands. The subfloor was lined with 18mm marine plywood first to render a flush finish with the adjoining wood floor.

Although slip resistance may be required, anti-slip sheet vinyl can look too institutional. There are alternatives, above is Karndean 'Knight-Tile' in a slate effect. The textured surface (if unpolished) can combine a limited slip-resistance with an attractive finish.
